Points of view

Posted by Mark

This is a great little video thtat may be shown to anyone when analysing anything. Never discount other points of view when arriving at a conclusion. Context really is everything.

Malcolm Gadwell writes a fabulous piece on Alberto Salazaar, the long distance runner and his perseverence in a sport in which he was given no chance. I am always amazed by those individuals who lack talent yet have the discipine to persist against the odds. I feel truly inspired after reading this article in the New Yorker. Enjoy.

Slackers

I was introduced to this educational scientist in a leadership course. Sugata Mitra believes that quality education does not exist in parts of the world where it is needed  most. Using technology as a tool to mitigate this gap, he shows how supervised use of technology, among learners, may revolutionize the way we teach and connect the world. Enjoy!
